Eleven more new vegetable varieties recently received bioverita certification. Six varieties come from Kultursaat breeders: the four lettuce varieties Emmi, Finja, Lotta and Mascha from Ulrike Berendt, the carrot Ronka from Dietrich Bauer and the turnip Hedwig from Sebastian Vornhecke. Two carrot varieties (Asap and Miso) and the parsnip Primera were bred by Saat:gut e.V.. The carrot Festiva and the courgette variety Hermosa were bred by Sativa Rheinau AG.
The above-mentioned varieties and the eleven that were certified in the second half of 2024 can be found in our online variety list with the selection ‘New varieties’. The complete list now includes 194 vegetable varieties.
