Variety description

Round, slightly angular onion. Cross of an old flat variety with a traditional pear-shaped variety. Almost the same taste as shallots. Selected for high dry matter, therefore long shelf life. Good mildew resistance.

Additional information

This variety is a newly bred, organic variety. It was cultivated under biodynamic conditions from the start, so that it is optimally adapted to organic cultivation. Varieties that carry the bioverita label can be reproduced because they are seed-resistant and also offer commercial gardeners an alternative to hybrid seed.
