Variety description

Roxanne is a downey mildew intermediate resistant variety. A little slower growing than standard rocket varieties, but also slower bolting. Roxanne offers a good yield with a quick regrowth. The dark and fine serrated leaves have a strong colour that stays during the second cut. The flavour is nutty and a little sweeter than the typical rocket.

This variety is a newly bred, organic variety. It was cultivated under organic conditions from the start, so that it is optimally adapted to organic cultivation. Varieties that carry the bioverita label are reproducible because they are open pollinated. They offer commercial gardeners an alternative to hybrid seed.
