Variety description

Fast-growing, early-maturing red cabbage variety for market gardening and home gardens. When planted early from mid-March, harvest is possible from mid-June. Produces medium-sized, approx. 1–1.8 kg, round heads with an extremely short core and flat wrapper leaves. Fine, well-balanced flavour. Medium storage ability. Growing period: approx. 70 days.

Additional information

This variety is a newly bred, organic variety. It was cultivated under biodynamic conditions from the start, so that it is optimally adapted to organic cultivation. Varieties that carry the bioverita label are reproducible because they are open pollinated. They offer commercial gardeners an alternative to hybrid seed.
