Variety description

Malachita is a delicate and low-growing courgette with light green striped fruits that can be easily harvested by twisting off the plant. The fruits are very pretty, short, slightly stout with smooth skin. They have an early onset of harvest and become resistant to powdery mildew. Suitable for balconies and raised beds.

This variety is a newly bred, organic variety. It was cultivated under biodynamic conditions from the start, so that it is optimally adapted to organic cultivation. Varieties that carry the bioverita label are reproducible because they are open pollinated. They offer commercial gardeners an alternative to hybrid seed.
